Perhaps thinking about what she is going to stitch next - or what to do with all those confetti stitches??

Well not that problem, but I have one who has parked himself in my lap, and one who would have shredded the paper.

You’ll notice that she sees you out of the corner of her eye. Caption for the cat picture, “Don’t even THINK about asking me to move!”

Oh, she WANTS you to ask.... LOL

Mine does it EVERY time too. He's also gray in fact they could be twins. He can be nowhere to be seen and the minute I get out my chart boom there he is for sits.

Of course! My cat used to plunk butt dowm right on top of the bow on any package I wrapped as a gift. So, it was either flat bows, which I refused to explain, or locking all gifts in a less-used room. Ask him to move? Not only NO, but HECK NO!
He got very very very upset if any wanted to move him out of or off from where he plunked....hmmmm.

I get that every time she hears me take my cross stitch out. She plunks her butt right down on my lap and then stretches her paws out to cover my pattern. She never wants attention unless I start doing something then she is suddenly needy for attention. I love her. 😊

I can relate. We have 2 very spoiled rescue cats--brother. who insist on sitting wherever they please, then with the cutist facial expression, beg for attention. They both like to jump in the chair I or my wife got out of, before it gets too cold!!! or push us out if either decided its time to sit in that chair. We have a stitching, reading, tv room. They will come on a dead run as soon as either of us head for that room. To get there before us to get the best seat!!!!

I have a similar problem. As soon as I sit to start stitching at least one of our 2 decides they need to sit on me. Our girl likes to sit on my boobs with her head over my shoulder and our boy likes to rest his head on my lap. My husband will be across the room all stretched out in his recliner with the perfect lap and they totally ignore him lol.
