Frame Size?
I see the project is about 5" x 7" but what frame size was used? Is it an 8" x 10" frame?

Hello,

They more than likely used an 8x10 frame for their model. You can always contact Little House Needlworks via their website to ask them what they used specifically though :) They might be able to tell you the exact kind of frame and possibly where to buy it?! Thanks!

Having done a gazillion of their designs, I agree with Kristi. It is the design itself that is 5×7, but the frame is 8x10 to give space for your eye to adjust to the white of the frame and the cocoa brown of the fabric. If all designers (I am lucky to consider one a friend) would use standard frame sizes, we could get nice frames and avoid a framer. I long for that day, but it probably will not come.
Does anyone remember being told that the USA was going to convert "very soon" to the metric system, in the late 1950s?
Boy, I have been able to memorize only a few metric sizes. I use a converter via the internet to switch back and forth from metric to our system. My math professor in coloege told me to only learn math I would use daily. Thank God for that man and the advice!
