Various Floss Manufactures
Is there any way to find comparable colors between the different floss manufactures? For instance I only have DMC floss. A pattern I recently bought from Everything Cross Stitch uses The Gentle Art floss. Nothing on the pattern description showed that which manufacturer was required.

Hello,

Do you mean a conversion chart?! We do not have one available on our website but there are lots out there for stitchers to use. Chit Chatters here recommend using the conversion chart on www.cyberstitchers.com or you can just simply google "Gentle Art to DMC Conversion" and see what comes up.

Also, not all of our designs will have a supply list online provided for them at the moment. This is something we are always working on for our designs and for our website but the task is very large with the amount of designs and keep adding. If there is ever a supply list for a design that you would like to see and it's not posted on our website, just contact us either by email or on here and I will get it posted for you as soon as possible :) That way you know what kind of supplies you will need for that design beforehand :) I will get the supplies added for the design shown in this posted for you. Hope this information helps!!

Keep in mind when converting to DMC that there ware no " official" conversions done by the hand dyed floss companies....why would they? They want you to buy their floss. Conversions you find on-line will always be subjective...that is... one persons opinion.

Your DMC conversion will not look exactly like the model photograph because the hand dyed threads are made up of variations of colour that give them a unique look.

Kristi,. I noticed the fabric count is 332. Hopefully that should be 32. Happy Holidays.
