If you tap on ‘View Item’ located by picture it will take you to further information of this pattern. Under ‘product specifications’ it shows it was done on 14 count aida. I don’t see any information as to what color fabric to use, but that can be a good thing, because you might like to purchase a fabric color other than white to stitch the pattern. :)

It's a coverall...that background is fully stitched. :) You don't have to stitch the background...You could choose to use a fabric in a similar color to act as the background...or any color. You're the boss! :)
