Is this a difficult one to do

Honestly, the degree of difficulty depends on your skill level and patience level. If I am correct, Stoney Creek patterns tend to have fractional stiches and backstitching which I avoid. Other than that it looks fairly uncomplicated piece of stitching. Hope someone else sees you question and comments on it.

Hildred - I do a lot of Stoney Creek patterns as well as cover all patterns by Artecy and Kustom Kraft. I am thinking this could be for an intermediate stitcher. If you read the description above the pattern you saw a lot of specialty threads are used which can be very pricey - also - glissen gloss filament is also used and takes some getting used to when working with it. I love it when the project is finished as it gives a nice glimmer to the project. It also has some kreinik thread which is also quite fiddly. So with all that said I would take the time and look at Stoney Creek's website and price the threads needed and then decide if you want to go ahead. I hope you will go ahead as I have many lovely projects from Stoney Creek. They publish the only cross stitch magazine I read and order from.
