Please divine if this is a thread or a bead and if you sell it. Thank you.

This picture is just a pattern you have to buy all the other products that is accompany it as floss, threads and needle beside the frame to hang it on your wall or make it into a cushion. Have fun.

284Z is a thread by DMC. It is a gold metallic thread.

I assume that you were asking to "define" not "devine" 284Z. The CORRECT answer to you question is that 284Z. I don't think that ECS carries this item because I don't see it listed in the product section. Contact the Customer Service Department tomorrow for further information.

NancyG - didn't they change this thread for another one because 284Z rusted? Seems like this is the one and it was several years ago when I was stitching Celtic Christmas. I could be wrong - straighten me out if I am.

I have this in my stash, hopefully to start gathering the supplies soon. So, it will be helpful to me too to know about this 284Z.

clpatt -- I remember there was a lot of negative discussion. I didn't really pay attention because it was not something I was interested in.

Read some reviews on this thread that stated it was difficult to work with Because the thread would separate into strands. I’ve never used it.

Hello,

DMC 284Z is a metallic thread and we do not carry it as I believe it's been continued. Per the Lavender & Lace website, they substitute DMC Metallic E3852 for the 284Z and that item is listed in our online supply list for this pattern. Hope this information helps!! Thanks.
