making this pattern for a daughter and son in law......it is so neat and this is my second one to make... The problem is I think the one I am using must be wrong so could you email me the size I have to push hard to get it thru,,,,on 14 iunt chopwood62@Yahoo.com

Hi, If you are saying you are working on 14- count aida fabric, then try a size 24 tapestry needle. IF that still is to difficult to push through, then try a size 26 tapestry needle. Remember that the HIGHER the needle size, the SMALLER the size of the needle. Also, if you use Bohin tapestry needles, they are a little more expensive than DMC needles, but the Bohins seem Better made and are smoother going through the fabric when stitching. Hope this helps! Your daughter and son-in-law will love the pattern you will be sewing for them. It’s a beautiful pattern. I don’t work for ECS. I’m one of the stitchers on the ECS chat-board. :)

I started this pattern about a hundred years ago when it was on the cover of, I believe, "Just Cross-Stitch" magazine...
In the hundred years, I've lost the pattern.
Would you happen to know where I might find a copy to purchase?
