How did this come out?
I LOVE this item!!! But, I'm not sure if the kit comes with everything needed to create both sides, so both the white on blue and blue on white... Could someone please clarify this for me? Thanks!

When I viewed the item, I noted this is a cross stitch PATTERN. No supplies are included...all you will receive is the pattern.

Not sure what led you to believe this was reversible...fabrics are suggested as "either/or", which might be a clue? But it will probably come with both suggested color schemes.
It is really lovely, and maybe you could figure a way to make it reversible...as an ornament? With a small frame or braided edging? :)
Great idea!

This is just a pattern when you call ask for the supplies as floss, fabric, and palette and beads plus the needle and the pattern. Good luck

I called it a "kit" as the description says it comes with the paillettes (beads of some sort?), but not floss, needle, or fabric.

I don't see why this couldn't be made into a 2-sided fob of sorts, or an ornament as VCESS suggested, or even a (hanging?) pincushion, with a bit of stuffing or batting inside... In fact, making both versions and sewing them into a 2-sided thingy-ma-bob is exactly what I plan to do once I get the "kit"! I think that would be fun, and very apropos - most days (hopefully) on "calm" side interspersed with a few (hopefully just a few) when it's flipped to "panic"!!! :) ha!

I just wasn't sure if enough paillettes came with to make 2 versions (as illustrated), or just enough for 1 version. I'm thinking just enough for 1 version, but thought I'd check with others to see what they thought, and/or received if they bought one, and if they decided to make both versions, etc.

Thanks!

Love your idea, Kerry...and I would purchase the extra beads & palettes at the same time. :)
"Kit" seems kind of vague, anymore...I just don't classify it as a kit unless EVERYTHING needed to finish is provided. I like when special charms are provided, but unless it comes with floss & fabric, too, it's a pattern...couldn't care less about that needle, I like my own much better. :)
Please share your finished project...it makes me smile. :)

Thanks, VCESS! It makes me smile, too, thinking about the finished doo-dad hanging in my office! :)

I am so with you on "kit" - you just don't know what that means anymore... Every manufacturer seems to have their own meaning for that term.

Bless!

I would still definitely check to see if there are meant to be beads for both and their wording about the fabric...instead of "or", it would be clearer if it said "and". Then you know the pattern and embellishments are for both...both fabrics suggested...they could add the floss, too, just help make it clearer. :) Tuesday going to be a busy day for the kids in customer service. :)

Finally, I thought to look at The Sweeheart Tree's website - duh... They list "Suggested Fabric: 28 Count Nordic Blue and 28 Count White Linen", and "Purchase Includes: Pattern and Embellishments"... And, now ECS has this on sale!! So, gonna order 1 (or maybe 2 - got a friend who would love this) and see how it goes... :)

I ended up buying 2 of these - the pattern comes with the needed 3mm (8 of these) and 5mm (2 of these) paillettes (they remind me of rhinestones, and have a flat, silverish back like a mirror) - the seed beads called for need to be purchased separately (28 white and 28 dark denim). I've got some 28-ct nordic blue linen, so just need some 28-ct white linen...
