I would do this on a yellow fabric, change the blues to green (except the blue flowers should stay blue) and the green grass at the base of the fountain to brown. I'd leave the blue in the word alone. You might have to look at the DMC colors to pick what you want, but it will be the pattern and the colors you prefer. I might even change the border to either green or brown.

No law that says you have to use "suggested" supplies. I frequently stitch in different colors.

Years ago when we moved to OK, we had to rent a house that was owned by a doctor. It was an older brick home with a nice layout. My husband rented it right away because it was not a large town with a lot of choice. Then he came to NM to pick me up. After a 12 hour drive we reached the house driving the uhaul. I walked in said this is nice, oh I like this, oh the son's room will hold his stuff easily. Then WE REACHED THE BATHROOM. The doc's wife loved purple. SO WE ARE TALKING PURPLE TOILET PURPLE SINK AND LO AND BEHOLD A PURPLE TUB and PURPLE TILE. [I did what any good wife does, she lies. Well this is different-can't wait to get some accessories (purple of course) and make it look like a real home. And as Forrest Gump would say "that's all I have to say about that",

I like this pattern too. I actually like it just the way it is. Did you buy it from ECS? Is there a name or something that I could research to buy it?

If you add just the green it won t be nice as it is now. The designer had choose the color according what he or she had see it. Have fun
