Fabric Size
The piece I am making is 382 crosses in height and 251 crosses in width. The stitched area is 15 5/8” by 24” (60.5 x 40cm) on 16 ct aida.
I should need a piece of fabric at 20" x 28," but this isn't a size option. Can I get some recommendations for a fabric size? I'm interested in the lambswool color. Thanks so much!

ECS does not sell custom sizes. You will have to buy a larger piece and cut it down.

NANCYE G is right about customized sizes here at ECS. The one thing I would add is that I always purchase fabric that is 3 inches on a side larger than the pattern. I would buy a piece of fabric for this project that is 22 x 30 inches just to be safe. Enjoy your stitching.

I'm not asking to buy a custom size (although the question right before mine is someone asking, and the answer seemed to be that you could call and get a custom size?), just questioning what size fabric I need. I'm still a fairly new stitcher and I don't always understand the size listings. My options are 12x18", 18x25", 1 yard at 25", 1 yard at 51", 51x54", and 2 yards at 51". Do I need 1 yard at 25"? What is that, a 25" square?

As for the size of my project, the stitched area is 15 5/8” by 24,” which is why I wanted fabric at 20" x 28" to allow for extra fabric on the sides. Maybe you misread my message? I don't know why I'd need 22 x 30 (which is also not a size option), as that would make it almost 6 inches bigger on every side.

Thank you for any help you can give. I appreciate it!

I have found that 2 inches bigger on each side or 4 inches total for length and 4 inches total for width is just not enough extra for sewing or when I frame my project. That is why I always add 6 inches total to the width and 6 inches total to the length. Rather have a little extra than be too close.
