Is this a chart or pattern? What do they recommend if it is a pattern? What material is it stitched on? There are many materials that can be used and are available through ECS. If you go to the materials on the website, you will see there are many different thread counts. The higher the count and worked over one would make it smaller. When my eyes were better I stitched on 28 count over ONE. If you stitch over TWO on 28 count, you will get the same size as stitching over ONE on 14 count aida. How much smaller do you want to go Sharon ?

You could stitch it over one on a 25 count Lugana. It would be about 16" x 12". Any smaller than that you'd have to go with a 28 or 32 count evenweave...or even petit point gauze.
