Mai cross stitch kit.
Is the design printed on the fabric provided. Also would this be suitable for a beginner? Thankyou. 😊

Hi there

This design was not printed on the fabric. Maybe if U follow how to cross stitch on youtube.com you will get the hint of it.

This is counted cross stitch. If you click on "Products" at the top of a page, you will see stamped products and click there. If you want to learn counted cross stitch, you need to pick a simple chart with no more than about 6 colors. If I was a beginner, this pattern would drive me crazy. It might, anyhow!

The advice SuPitt gave you is very good. They do sell stamped cross stitch projects here and also beginner projects. This is definitely not a project for a beginner. Welcome to the stitching world.

I agree that it honestly would be best to start on a small project so you don't get intimidated. Just several different colors on 14 count material. When I started that's what I did. I was so excited when I got through it and then it had a 3" oval frame. Did several of these. Gets you used to having to pull out stitches "frogging", following the pattern, etc. I wish you the best of luck and hope you grow to love this as all of us do.

My first project had two trees that required about a million French knots..choose your first project carefully! 😊 Simple design, 6 - 14 colors...something that appeals...imagine it as framed on your wall or made into a pillow. You might try something like a pin cushion or an ornament...change the colors, if you want! Let your imagination go nuts! 😊
