Thank you, Pam, for the kind thoughts and prayers. He is pretty amazing at age 81! He still plays tennis. It used to be five days a week but I think it is only a few days now! He runs people ragged on the course! Dr. said thanks for telling him he plays tennis and is left handed because they will place defibrillator on the right side. IT was a funny story really. He said they got the driveway plowed but still needed to do a little shoveling so the oil guy could get in etc. He said he would shovel a bit and sit in a lawn chair and rest. Then my mom would shovel a bit and sit in a lawn chair and rest. They switched off. I asked if there were any kids in the neighborhood that could do it but he said not really. Unfortunately, we live 2 hours away and if they get a mid-week storm it is hard for us to help. They are looking to move to Florida and putting the house up for sale soon. They are sick of the snow and cold weather.

Wouldn't take me to 81 to get sick of it! Wish him well from me, too! 😊

Your response made me smile. I can just picture your mom and dad and that lawn chair. That generation are tough! Anyhow, the unceasing prayers are with your family. When I was young, I was the one who shoveled. My brother somehow disappeared when it snowed. I am sending hugs to all of you. Stay strong-God is with you.
