Can you tell me what 1 yard at 27" means? Or 1 yard at 55" ?

It would refer to the width of the fabric 27" or 55", then the length would be 1 yard or 36" or whatever you specify, but the width would remain as manufactured.

Hello,
A yard is 36" so when it states 1 yard at 27" that means the size of the fabric is 36" x 27" :) Hope this helps!
