This is a kit, the 14 count aida is provided. All you need is a hoop if you use one.

I just want to tell U that I had made this cross stitc from just a pattern. the word kit is a package that contains everything for finishing the picture that you had chosen from fabric, floss, and needle beside the pattern or instruction sheet all what U have to do is just frame it after U finish the cross stitch.
