delivering to Lebanon?
I live in Lebanon. If I order how can I get it?

Their FAQ page says they ship overseas, but must be paid in US currency, which your credit card will handle. If you want to pay by check, you have to go to a bank & get one at the correct exchange rate. Hope this helps! I only got thru Celtic Christmas, but all the "seasons" are beautiful.

jhewes, did you do this on linen? I've never stitched on linen and want so much to learn. I bought the fabric and really scared to try (scared of failure I guess). I would like to know what it looked like on aida (if you did it on Aida).

JClifford. Stitched Celtic Christmas on an evenweave like Lugana. Too much fabric showing to use Aida. Had to buy an Ott light to see all the reds in the skirt. Took about a year, but worth it.

Evenweave is not hard, although some linen is very loosely woven & unstable. You just need to start tn the correct hole & always go over 2 threads. Picture a tic TAC toe grid. Bring your needle up in the lower left box of the grid. Count up 2 lines (threads) & right 2 lines. This box is where you take needle / thread back to the underside of your design. That's the first part of the cross stitch. For the 2nd leg of the X, come up in the lower right box of the grid & go back down in the upper left box. Once the 1st stitch is set, keep counting 2 threads & stitch like you're working on Aida cloth.

Thanks, I'm going to try it tonight on the linen I bought. Is Evenweave and Linen the same thing?

Both warp & woof threads the same count on "evenweaves", but there are fabrics made of other fibers, like cotton. Some linens are harder to stitch on due to thick & thin fibers, or a wiggly nature I call " unstable". It is hard to keep your stitches even when fibers get to moving around. I am not familiar with most of the linens, so you need some expert advice on yours.

jclifford - If I'm uncertain about stitching on certain fabrics ... or ... if I'm uncertain about how my stitches are going look ... I go to one of the corners of the fabric and do a row of stitches just to see how things will work out. I've done this many times. Good luck on your project! Lisa
