Oh, you know, Miss Crossstich, we talk about lots of things here - cross stitch mainly, but also our fury friends, our kids and grandkids, prayer requests, medical concerns - all part of the friendship circle. :)

I guess I’ve been scolded. I will go to my time out chair, and think about what I’ve done.

No, no, no, Jaj, do not stop posting about whatever subject you want to talk about! Your fun and newsy posts are wonderful. Please keep them coming!

Jaj you should not be scolded. We talk about all sorts of things here on this chat room. If it was only about stitching it would be so boring.

On a quilting chat room I belong to we share lots of things besides quilting. We have one section that is nothing but what we are doing, our families etc. and any prayers someone might need. Several of us have met others on the chat room in person because we live fairly close together. We have chatters from all the states plus some foreign countries. That is what makes it so much fun. We have swaps and send each other cards for birthdays and such.

If this chat room here was only about sewing I would not be participating.

Miss C, If you aren't interested in the post, don't read it. Not all of us post just for one person's benefit. Facebook teaches people that the most unimportant, boring details must be of interest to the world. Be thankful I don't show you my latest culinary masterpiece, a muffin...or share the DSs fancy dinner from last night! 😊 Count your blessings, Dear! And enjoy an occasional giggle! 😊

Oh my. We talk about everything. As Ellen says, be kind!

I want to see your masterpiece muffin, VCESS! :-D

Hey, the poison ivy thread is/was very relevant to cross stitching. Have you ever tried to cross-stitch with those itchy little bumps all over you hands? :-) How does someone manage that? Special iron gloves?
Posted by: MarzHere on 06/22/18
If you have an extra set of iron gloves I’ll take them.
They’ll go perfectly with the ‘Skin So Soft’ oil for the biting flies.

I should have included the sarcasm alert in my earlier post. I did have “it” on my hand last year, under my wedding band, and between my fingers. It was a bugger, couldn’t wear my rings for weeks, let alone do any stitching. (There I made it relevant)
As for muffins, I only have the top. I rest my stitching on it.
