HELP! Desperately seeking a specific children's alphabet sampler kit/pattern
About 15-20 years ago I stitched the cutest ABC sampler for my 3 children. Tragically, our home and most of it's contents were lost in a fire, including the sampler and several other projects I had stitched. The kids lost everything except for their blankies & favorite stuffed animal. Surprisingly, they were most upset over losing the sampler. The one thing that I could not replace. I have spent dozens upon dozens of hours searching hundreds of sites, patterns & kits as well as posting detailed inquiries on countless forums, social networking sites and x-stitch sites. I haven't even come close to a possible match. Its is more important than ever that I find it. I have grandchildren now and their parents desperately want me to stitch it for their kids wall and it for themselves as well.

DESCIPTION (what I remember)
It was purchased as a kit. Don't remember the manufacturer. I'd say it was average sampler size. Several equal rows divided by assorted sized squares and rectangles. Each square contains a bright, vivid, CARTOON-LIKE picture for each letter with the name of the object stitched below it.
Here is what I can recall:

A = Airplane (I think yellow?)
C = Clock (analog w/alarm bells)
D = Doll (rag-like?)
F = Fish (rainbow color?)
J = Jacks
K = Kite
M = Mouse (gray cute smile)
O = Octopus (Pink Cute w/ smile face?)
P =
Q = Question Mark (rainbow color)

R = Rabbit (upright on 2 legs?)
S = Spider (cute smiling)
T = Train
X = xylophone (rainbow color)
Y = Yarn (ball of)

Not sure about remaining letters but the ones described should be enough to identify.

Thanx for any help

Hi there

For the sake of the children I am doing this go on EBAY.COM and find your vintage JCA baby collection

alphabet. It will cost you $19 and some change plus the shipping of course. Good luck to U and your

children.

This sounds so familiar. I think it's the one I stitched for one of my granddaughters in the eary 90ties. Unfortunately, I no longer have it. I purge every few years. Luckily misscrosstitch found a source for you.

That was very kind and helpful of you missXstitch.
