Thanks to all who tried to help this old lady. Canvas and thread are all ready and going to start...may "wing" it a little. Must keep my hands busy and tired of crochet pot holders...have put them in all the mail boxes down the road. Is that a Federal offense?
May not understand that one symbol but did get a first place at the Florida State Fair a few years ago....worth all the work!!!

Who would complain about getting a gift in the mailbox that didn't come from the US postal service? I use to make cakes, cookies and pies and put them in the mailboxes of my neighbors when I was a housewife.

Now I just put a Christmas gift in the mailbox for my mailman every year. I just may make her something this year that she can hang on her tree. I ordered, several weeks ago, a silver bell that came with a round plastic frame. I think that would be a wonderful gift for her. Sure beats another pretty jar of candy! What do you think ladies? I've been giving my mailman (mail carrier) Christmas gifts for almost 40 years - no matter where I lived. They always seem appreciative.

I try to make my friends a new Christmas Ornament each year for Christmas. They always enjoy them since none of them do cross stitch. I have tried to get them interested but no luck.
