Multiply the with the height and divid that by 14.

the solution is 4 inches and 18 just do not forget to add 4 inches for the frame.

I have no idea what Miss Crossstitch is telling you but it is wrong!!! The stitch count for this pattern is 76 stitches x 77 stiches. If you want to do it on 14ct. Aida the finished size will be 5 1/2 inches x 5 1/2 inches. You need to add 3 inches on a side for the size of 14ct. Aida you will need. That comes out to a piece of 14ct. Aida fabric 12 inches x 12 inches. Hope this helps.

You might try "fiddler's Cloth" Aida. This looks very good on whatever raw or natural color they've chosen.

hank you Syagel, I understand that a lot better! Do you recommend ordering fabric through this company?

Yes I buy almost all my fabric from this website because I can get so many sizes and types. I buy it by the yard so I have a stash. I see now they have changed the way they sell the large pieces, but it is still a great place to get fabric and patterns. Have a good weekend.

Glad I was able to help.
