Dogwood Lace wants to be a sofa pillow
Big problem with this website: see too many things you want. Ordered pattern 'n floss - 7 skeins of DMC. Color variations floss # 4210. Lucky if I can get DH to lean against it. He thinks their priceless.

I love the design and I had bought the pattern as one of the lady that help solve problems in the chat had said that this pattern ask for 8 DMC floss I will buy them when I get my pattern. U can have it as a cushion for your sofa or wall hanging. If I had got this pattern a while ago I would had given it as a wedding gift to one of my relative instead of money.

I do love this pattern. It's so pretty and elegant. I want it to. Stitch it and post a picture on our website.

I'm going to do one of these next year when I get caught up!

I love this pattern too. I put it on my wish list, but I have so many projects ahead of it. I have spent so much money on patterns and supplies since I found this website. Guess I could spend my money on a lot worse things. LOL

It is beautiful. If only I had the time..... Yes, syagel, you could be spending your money on much worse. So if you have the time and you like it then do it. I have to establish a wish list. What is the point of one? Will they hold the pattern or is to keep one from having to research all over again?

jlhewes, don't use it as a pillow. It'll receive too much wear and tear. This is a lot of work. I frame pretty much everything to keep it in tip top shape. I love Dogwoods, wish that I could grow them here. Even the name of the floss sounds delicious - Baked Cinnamon Apple.

Texas Stitcher the point of my wish list on this website for me is so I don't have to research every pattern. When I see one I like I put it on my wish list. I don't always buy everything I put there but those are the ones I choose from when I purchase more patterns. The only problem is I sometimes have lots to choose from. LOL Have a good week.

Excellent idea, syagel. I make notes, which I lose and committing it to memory is not an option. The wish list is a perfect tool to keep track of patterns. I have to do research on the Dogwood Lace, if fancy stitches are included than it might not be for me.

Happy stitching and have a wonderful weekend. I plan on cleaning and stitching. Olivia's other grandparents are going out of town for two weeks, so I have to be caught up on things, especially bill paying, paperwork, etc. I was hoping for rain but nothing doing.

I don't think I had paid that much for my cross stitch pattern the dogwood lace. It is too much to pay for it. Sorry gals. I would nt.

Miss Crossstich, $13.00 is not too much to pay for a cross stitch pattern. I have several patterns that cost as much as $20.00. They are just patterns not kits, but they are very intricate, and have lots of pages. My Gettysburg Address cross stitch pattern cost me $24.00 and worth every penny.

I think that this pattern is very reasonably priced given the size and complexity. It can be stitched in several different colors to be given as gifts or to use as decorator pillows.

jlhewes, what a considerate DH you have! Can't say that mine is not but he does not pay attention to such things.

My DH worries about both my stitched items and my stash. He protects it from the evil Pug and and makes sure that I have what I need and too much of what I want. My wish list here is not too huge, but I do love this pattern, too! Love dogwoods...
