This model was stitched on Wichelt's Purple Potter 14 ct. Aida fabric, but I cannot find it anywhere. I even went to the Wichelt's website. Wichelt's does sell a beautiful lilac color on this website here that would work perfectly I think. Just go to the cross stitch fabric link on the left side and click on 14ct. Wichelt Aida fabric and you will see it. I think it would be what you want.

They have a 14-ct Provence Lavender here that would look nice. Go to Cross Stitch Fabrics; 14- ct Aida; the Wichelt icon with the most colors listed. Their purple may be too dark.

I did this as my first project in many years and I was able to find a darker purple AIDA at Silkweaverfabrics.com under their "Solids" and it looks exactly as the picture. Of course you always have the ability to change the fabric and the different floss colors.

For my first project after 20+ years I really wanted to stay with what was pictured and I was not disappointed. I hope this helps!

Silkweavers does good work. The one time I ordered they were slow, but they were out of their base Zweigart fabric.
