Fabric
Can you adapt the pattern to 16 or 18 cross stitch fabric? I don't want to work on the linen. Thanks.

Yes id you do it on 16ct. Aida would be the same size as done on 32ct. over 2 threads. it would be pretty on a beige Aida fabric.

Won't look as good without a hand-dyed Halloween color. www.picturethisplus.com dyes Aida fabric. I'd take a look at their colors. They sell fat cuts down to a fat 1/8th.

Any pattern can be adapted from linen. The only thing that changes is the size. Just divide the stitch count by say 14 if you decide to do it on 14 count fabric and it'll give you the finished size. I agree with using fabric from Picture This Plus for that antique look. Happy Stitching!
