I love this little cross stitch I bought it to make for a friend who is learning to cook and as we all know from past experience those early days :-)
So when I spotted this I just could not resist buying to make for her as her last few attempts at dinner parties have been :-) burnt to perfection :-) so this is perfect for her :-)
I love the fact it comes with a little charm to sew onto the wall hanging :-)
And I have just spotted more designs by this designer that are also must buys in my book :-)
I love the quirkiness of the designs :-) and can not wait to buy the rest of the sets :-)
I hope you have as much fun with this design as I have :-)

There a lot of these types by Sue Hillis. You could buy a blank chef's apron, some waste canvas, & stitch the pattern on it.

a few years ago, I made up a jacket for my grandson using 4 different pirates and a couple of parrots. He still wears it on occasion, and has had many comments about it. Sew much fun! There is even one especially for Christmas! Sue Hillis did a great job designing these!

I've done a pirate one by her and it was fun and easy to stitch. Although skulls aren't exactly my favorite motif. It was for a relative. My favorite part was the lettering. I hope that I still have the pattern in case I want to do something that I can use the alphabet for.
They are all quite funny.

I love Sue Hillis Designs. Just finished a baby sampler "Sugar N Spice".
I bought my boss a "license plate" that has a skull pirate on it and it says "Beatings will continue until Moral Improves". It's funny! I wished I'd seen the cross stitch design before I bought the license plate.

I did it for my son in law and it turned out really well. Too funny!

I love Sue Hillis Designs too. My favorite one that I have done is The Rainbow Bridge. I cry when I read that one because of all the dogs we have had. I did it for me, and need to get quilting border done that I am going to put on it so I can get it hung here.
