Picture of Project
Is this a photo of the art work or a photo of a completed x-stitch ?

I don't see any cross stitches in a zoom close up. I presume it's some form of computer graphical image. Looked at on my 8" Toshiba tablet, it's pretty fuzzy.

There are half a dozen or more companies now converting art works & photos to cross stitch using software programs. The most complex I've heard of is Scarlet Quince. I probably wouldn' t live long enough to finish one of theirs.

Went to the website of this pattern and it is a photo of the painting of Raphael not a picture of the completed project. All of the patterns I found on their website were pictures of the projects not the actual cross stitched project. The website says this pattern is for experts. Hope this helps.

Oh no, stitching for over six decades and still not an expert!

I wouldn't d this on a bet, even if I liked it. Expert or no expert this is too much.

Hi everyone, I am the founder of X Squared Cross Stitch. I am not sure where you are getting your information but the image is of the finished cross stitch as are all of our images. We never upload an image that is not of the finished piece. Please check your facts next time!

Wow hayley.fitzpatrick, how snobby are you!!!! We are all just stitchers here and giving advice as we see fit. Next time you may want to put more information on your website about the pieces you are trying to sell.

Regardless of how you upload the pictures, we will buy it or not just by preference alone. If we like it, we don't care if it's a picture of the finished piece or a picture of a photo. I've read where people asked the same question about other pieces and bought it anyway, because they liked it.

Don't be so rude, you could have worded this in a different way. I sure as hell won't buy anything from you now.

It's too early in the morning to get my feathers ruffled. I usually have my third cup of coffee before getting mad.

Founder of X Squared Cross Stitch then you better put it on your website, because I enlarged it and it did not look like a finished cross stitch project. Guess we stitchers here are not "snotty" enough for your company though I and most of the others here have been stitching for over 30 years. You will not ever be getting any of my business!!!

Signing off will see you all next week. Stick up for us while I am gone!! LOL

Syagel you have a wonderful vacation and don't worry about us, we will hold the fort down.

I apologise if I came across as snotty. That was not my intention at all and I agree that it could have been said differently. However I do feel very strongly about this issue as I myself have purchased several patterns and kits in the past only to discover that the displayed image was in fact the original artwork not the finished design. I pride myself on only displaying the finished pattern. Again, I apologise for ruffling your feathers so early in the morning.

Hayley.fitzpatrick: Thank you for your apology. It was well received.
