Lavender & Lace charts
Hello! Do these charts come with the supplies needed to complete the project? In other words, does the $14.00 price include a whole kit, or only the chart?

Unfortunately it's only the pattern. Fabric, floss and other embellishments have to be purchased separately. It's a beautiful pattern. Wish I had the time, I do all four.

Thank you for your prompt reply! I started making the Celtic Christmas one about 20 years ago, and still haven't finished! I do love working on it when I can, though, and hope to finish it before my 20th wedding anniversary in 2016.

I agree with Texas Stitcher about it being a beautiful pattern, but I have so many projects lined up now. I can't buy another for a while. You only get the pattern, but if you have a stash of DMC floss and fabric you may not have to purchase too much extra.

Just do a few stitches every day and before you know it will be finished. I work on things and tell myself this is so difficult I'll never finish it and then I change my mindset and decide to just finish one area, then another and before I know it, it's completed.
Gotta run and feed DH.
Good luck.

These are so much alike, I only did Christmas. Switched to another L&L Leavitt-Inblum, & a couple of Mirabilia Nora Corbett's. That was enough richly dressed females.

However, I'm putting 4 "In My Garden" seasons by Nora, into an over-one banner. Different style for her, nice colors, no beads or metallics. 100% positive. Have converted 4 Art Deco ladies to an over-one banner before. Decide which part stitches to change & the back stitching fixes everything. !! Use Sulkey Rayon for the BS. It's thinner than cotton sale,& I bought all the dark colors at a terrific JoAnns sale.

Oh! I've seen Nora's "In My Garden" seasons. Very nice. Thinking of doing those some day as well.

Prolific little minx! She's into mermaids, pixies, alphabet letters, angels, queens, on & on. Always thought her mother was the better designer.

I agree jl...I think Marilyn was the superior designer. Her angels' faces in particular.... Nora doesn't have it when it comes to faces. Still a good designer though- if you like that style.

Spring was in the Home Arts building yesterday. The fair had both Celtic Spring (L&L) & Spring Queen (Mirabilia) in the Needlework show. They are beautiful & worth stitching, even today.
