I realize this post goes back to November, however, I just saw the picture! It is beautiful, right down to the brick work under the store window!! I have the greatest respect for those of you who have made some of these Heaven and Earth designs, over one. I have never attempted one of these. What advice could you give me in doing this? I have a picture of an angel to make wherein the face only is over one...so I will get a little taste of it eventually.
Thanks.

I love working HAED charts. By using 1 stitch over one, it is so detailed. For years I looked for more detailed charts. I stumbled across HAED several years ago, and I am hooked. I have to use a magnifying glass tied around my neck to work it, but it is worth it. The small count material is also not quite as stiff as larger count.

Hi Kerner,
Yes! Heaven and Earth Designs are gorgeous and you do cross stitch OVER ONE square with one strand of floss. I am presently working on HAED's "Sacred Hour" and "Loves Me Not" patterns and the patterns are SOO detailed, that the pictures are magnificent.
In fact, HAED website is having an Easter sale going on now.
I DO use a stand Magnifier with LED lighting to do these patterns to see the linen "squares" easier.
