Well on Monday I went into work and around 8a.m. I started having stomach so as spasms. Went home and could not get in to see my family doctor. I waited till DH got home & we to Urgent care. They didn't have the right meds t o treat me. Went to a satellite emergency room. After a hour and really super strong pain med they sent me to the big hospital. Said I have blockage in the small intestine and may need surgery. Well, here it is Thursday night and they finally took the tube out of my stomach (ran from my nose down my throat into my stomach). I get to go home in the morning with a happier intestines and hopefully to recover as well as I have been these last two days. So, what have you girls been up to!

I'm so sorry to hear about your terrible ordeal. I hope you are post surgery now and have a prompt recovery. Luckily you got to the right people quickly to correct your problem. Best wishes and prayers for your restored health.

praying for a speedy recovery.. I had a similar surgery 10 yrs ago & know how you feel... you will be 100% better.. take it easy and do not rush recovery.

Gee! So sorry! They should have sent you to the big hospital right away. Urgent care can be so uneven.

J, I add my prayers for your prompt and complete recovery! Getting home will help, I know! So difficult to get any real rest in a hospital room....I had a deaf roomie who loved game shows! Her daughter had to yell in any conversation....she kept the whole wing awake, bless her, not to mention, informed...we didn't mean to be unkind but my daughter and I couldn't help giggling at some of the conversations!

This past Tuesday I had a total knee replacement! I'm now well on my way to healing!! I'm in a LTC facility.......!!!

so glad to hear you are surrounded by the right people and their skills were able to get you home again. My prayers are with all of you stitchers. I have found that stitchers are incredible people.
