Threads used
Does this pattern call for any specialty threads (e.g., metallics)? I was wondering because the pears look very "gold".

Not at all. This pattern is done with DMC floss and one grasshopper no others.

According to the instructions this project uses DMC floss. If you contact Kristi here at ECS and ask her she will add the floss to the supply list and you will be able to see just what DMC colors are used.
