Smoke Aida
What fabric color that's available on your website is closest to "smoke"? My choice was mushroom but before I place the order I would appreciate other thoughts. Thanks

This pattern was stitch on 196wx194h Smoke 14 Aida cloth and its size is 14 x 21 just do not forget to add
4 inches for framing.

I appreciate your input but I need to know what color is "smoke"?

ken.hackney, sort of greyish. Your best bet is to contact customer service and ask them. Kristi or Troy would know. Good luck. You'll be busy for awhile with that one!

They have a Charles Craft Platinum, that would be similar. Looks like every square is stitched, so any greyish white should do./

Hello,

When I look up the 14ct. Aida smoke color online, it comes up as a tan/oatmeal color. Since I don't have this material in my office to compare the colors to, I had to look it up online and to me, the closest thing we offer to that specific color would be the 14ct. Aida Dirty. That still might be a little too dark but the lighter colors we have I think would be too brown? The smoke is definitely a tan/oatmeal color though. I hope this helps somewhat?

I was wondering the same thing. Thanks Kristi for clarifying that.

Interesting. Smoke always looked greyish to me. Only goes to show how misleading the names of colors can be. Looking at the pattern again, it makes sense that it would be oatmeal or tan since the floss colors appear to be mostly in the brown family.

Lots of good comments here today. Unfortunately, I have to run and make returns. :(
