I think it is showing the pattern can be stitched on 14 count. Whether it is jobelan or aida should not really make a difference. Says the size will be 5" by 5" on 14 ct. Or are my eyes seeing the description wrong?

Bermuda no you are not seeing things. Your answer is correct.

you can use any kind of fabric even if you want to use wast canvas on regular material that suit any of the pattern.

Anyone who would consider doing this project on waste canvas must have a whole in their head. If you are considering this let me know and I will send heavy duty thread to go thru that hole

Nancye G is correct Do NOT use waste canvas for this project. I have done projects with waste canvas and this pattern is not made for it!!!

Might be the way I read it, but I don't think she meant to tell her to use waste canvas, only that she could use anything with a 14 count and the waste canvas was an extreme example. You guys get so excited. :)

This pattern has one design done in three different ways so the floss list is going to be different for each design. But I went ahead and listed the entire floss list needed for the entire booklet. The first two patterns (the red/gold and blue/silver designs) are 70x70 and are done on 28ct. Lambswool Jobelan. The smaller design is 60x60 and can be done on a fabric/color of your choice.
