Lilac Siamese
This is what I'm stitching, in honor of my Lynx Point or Tabby Point half Siamese Missy. She's got a lilac personality. Background not stitched, but it will take time anyway, with all the color changes.

I've seen the flower cats. I especially like Texas Rose.

jl, it's adorable. I can't let Olivia see this. She loves cats and we have to pretend every day that she is a cat. She has one at her Granny's house but it's a boy and boys don't rate very high with her. She told me yesterday that she has to bathe because she smells like a boy, when I asked her how so, she explained that she had to sit next to boys on the bus and they smelled because they do not bathe.
What are you stitching for Ricky? Exactly what is a lilac personality?
I have to research Texas Rose.

Well, lilacs bloom in the Spring. They're fresh, new, lovely to press your face into, maybe perky. I don't know. I have 2 in mind for Ricky. Look Into My Eyes, & Red Glow, both by Shinysuns Cross Stitching. Not at ECS, unfortunately.

I started the California Poppy Cat that Miss C mentions. Never could get into it & gave away pattern.

Makes sense. I love lilacs myself and wish that they would grow here. There are so many colors and varieties. I'd probably have at least five in my yard. They grow everywhere in Montana and I actually looked forward to walking so I could admire them and enjoyl the lovely scent. Peonies, another favorite, grow well there too - in all colors. I haven't warmed up to cacti yet. We lived in Victorville for 18 months and the desert was so beautiful after a rain. Unfortunately, it only rained once the entire time we were there. I have rotten luck with succulents, I have a tendency to overwater.
No, I'm not fond of the Poppy Cat. The Lilac Cat is perfect for a girl. And Ricky needs a boyish motif! LOL
