1/4 stitches

I love this stocking, but hate 1/4 stitches. Could someone who's completed this give me an idea of how much of the project has 1/4 stitches.

I looked it up for you about this pattern of stocking. There is nothing to say that there is 1/4 stitch at all. Good luck.
