Bothy Kits
Has anyone purchased a kit, not just a design, from this British company? If so, is there enough floss in their kits? Asking because this old stitcher had a big frogging episode and frogged about one-third of it. The floss unraveled with frodding, but I saved and re-used what I could. Oddly enough, I hardly ever buy kits and the chart was confusing. Easy stitch once I figured out what they were doing....

What the heck is "frodding"?

Does that possibly have something to do with snipe hunting? :)

Yeh, Sue. You've mentioned frogging before. What the heck is that?

Catching frogs??? And making them cross stitch??? LOL

No, Su, sorry no experience with kits. I've only done a few in my life time. There is always some aspect that annoys me about them and I quickly realized that they are not for me.

I guess you have to go the route of the other stitchers and contact the company, all the while keeping your fingers crossed. Good luck.

Frogging is when you have to remove stitches, rip it, rip it....frogs go "ribbit, ribbit". It is a common joke with newer (less than 50 yr. old) stitchers. At least we know what DH means. What they call confetti stitches (changing colors very often), my DH calls shotgun stitches! He says they look like the spread of bird shot from a shotgun more than 8-10 feet away from its target.

I don't know about the Bothy kits but I love the look of their
