Gladiola Picture #4
UPDATE: For those of you who have followed the four Gladiola pictures since the beginning (or whenever), I'm happy to report that #4 came home from the framer today! They're finally all here. I looked for the box with the rosettes my Dad won for his Gladiolas and there must be ten or more of them so I'll take four of the prettiest ones and include one with each picture. I don't know when I'll deliver the pictures. It would be so nice to have all four kids together when I do it but the only time that will happen is in August when my granddaughter gets married. Maybe I'll wait until then.

I don't know if I've mentioned here that I have a guardian angel who leaves money with the framer to put toward framing. Whoever it is wants to remain anonymous so I haven't a clue. I do know that it's a woman and that's all. She left $75. a week or so ago and that really helped with the bill for this last frame. She paid $50. once before. Wish I could thank whoever it is. Some lovely person!

Congratulations on having all 4 designs completed and framed! And what a wonderful person, whoever that person is, to be your guardian angel and help you with the costs of framing!!

Glad you got your big Glad project all done. That is a great accomplishment. You sure do have an angel to help pay for some of the framing. Framing can really get expensive. Congrats for getting done with your project.

Senior Stitcher--- I really enjoyed your story about the history of your gladiolas stitched masterpieces. I cannot wait to hear about the presentation and conclusion to this wonderful heirloom you created for your 4 children. It is also heartwarming to hear about your framing angel and that whoever it is wishes to remain anonymous, this is so kind and helpful to you. Congratulations to you on your perseverance to complete 4 of the same stitched pieces---I don't know that I could restitch the same design 4 times. Best wishes!
