What an unusual pattern. Looks like it will be fun to stitch.

I have this in my stash but can't remember what the fabric looks like. I just straightened up the office and don't want to pull everything out of the office to look for it. I really like the motif - it's different.

I believe that jlhewes is stitching it. She told what type of stitch it is, I can't remember but I placed it on the bottom of the category of things to stitch. Don't know if I can figure it out.

This is by Cherry Lane Designs (cherrylndesigns.com). She doesn't say anything on her web-site, but looking at this and other similar patterns, it sure looks like it's on a sandstone 18-count canvas. You might look at her site and e-mail her for clarification. Looks nice, though!

Texas Stitcher, why is it when we straghten things up... we have a hard time finding things.
I am in the process of filling/filing paperwork in a new file cabinet. I hate it! Organization/file cabninets are the great abyss to me. I am a pile girl, could name everything in a pile or bag but I have always struggled with the file cabinet. LOL

Hello,

The only information we have on the leaflet itself is this: "Model stitched on fabric of your choice with DMC floss. Stitch Count: 80H x 120W" I checked her website as well and didn't have any luck. I agree that emailing the designer is the best way to go. She might be able to suggest a fabric for your and/or tell you what she used for the model for this pattern.

Has to be dark enough to show the white & off-white eyelets. It's a tad difficult because of many sizes & styles of eyelet & their odd placement. I like eyelets & I'm being patient with counting. It's aiming to be a toss pillow.

Okay, if jl says that it's a tad difficult then I am passing it on to my daughter.

x-stitcher, I feel your pain. I hate filing and like you have difficulty retrieving documents. Mostly because I have gotten sloppy or I'm in a hurry. I am such an organized person and still can't find anything. I think the key is to just be like my mom and put it somewhere where no one would think to look for it. Like a comb in the kitchen for instance. I had a rough day today already, so I don't even want to think about my files. Taxes are due and I have to get a ton of info together. I had to return clothes today and they completely reorganized the entire department. I had to walk 1/2 mile just to find the department and then the register. My Olivia called me and wanted me to pick up a toy for her, the store was noisy and all I heard was "bird". They have these birds that sing and sit in cages. She already has cages so I got two birds, well she wanted owls and was disappointed. I hate it when I disappoint her. She ended up having fun with them and had them all over my orchids. Her mother was upset because she broke a blossom off from a stem on a reblooming one. Who cares? I can't say no to her. She is my heart. At least I got the correct Keurig whatevers for her mother.
Oh well, didn't mean to go on and on. LOL
