Oh....try not to follow the 10x10 on the pattern, or work a "flat edge", like the page....tape the pages together....I am working all four sides, till I have blended all four sides....then whatever my common sense tells me....if I still have any! :)

Speaking of gridding, Scarlet Quince's newsletter is discussing gridding with a Dritz marking set. Wow! Think it might solve a lot of problems folks have with gridding!

Marlene, are you doing this fractal, plus contemplating 10 of the jewel queens? You live too far away to visit when you get locked up by the men in white jackets. Please finish the purple rose & give this some thought.

I don't quite get the vertical stitching. Can't you just turn the pattern sideways That way instead of working top to bottom you would be working right to left. Am I making myself clear? My brain is telling me that I could never, ever do this piece
