First timer -- are you a first timer stitcher or a first timer on this site? If you are first time on this site ask Kristi to list the floss colors. Sometimes it takes awhile for the new pattern supplies to be listed. If you are a first time stitcher -- you should choose something smaller with fewer colors.

Hi emb and welcome!!

I agree with Nancye! If you're a first time stitcher, this might be a bit daunting! I'm doing one in Lavendar and there are like SIXTEEN different shades of green in the leaves & stems!! It is a bit tedious to say the least! Many, MANY single stitches in different colors! Lots of needle changing!

I would also recommend whatever you choose to stitch for a first project, make copies of the chart and put original away! I do this as I mark off the stitches on the chart as I do them. I also think that for a beginner you should follow the 10x10 grids on the pattern, it will make it much more manageable!

WELCOME to the CHAT ROOM!!
