I do not believe it is a kit but it is just the pattern. If you click on the picture and look where it says category ii says cross stitch PATTERN. You would have to purchase the pattern, then purchase the fabric and floss.
But do not let this stop you if you are thinking of learning to do the "counted" type of cross stitch.

Yes, this is just a counted cross stitch pattern. However, the supplies for this pattern are listed right underneath it. So, if you choose, you can purchase the pattern, the floss and the fabric all at the same time and once the order is placed, we will gather everything up and get it shipped out to you. But it's not a manufactured kit. I hope this information helps :)
