mystic stitch patterns?
I was just looking at the pattern "Snow" by Mystic Stitch which is a pattern of a red barn in a winter scene. What can you ladies tell me about Mystic Stitch? How is the pattern laid out - multiple pages I am assuming. Have any of you done this particular pattern and just how challenging is it? I have stitched for over 25 years and am not afraid of a multiple page pattern but want to be sure it is a "user friendly" pattern. Thanks a million. Have a great week.

Hi,
If you have 25 years of experience cross stitching, there is no question you have the experience to do a Mystc Stitch pattern. Yes, all the patterns I've bought from Mystic Stitch have multiple pages. Their patterns are detailed like you would see with ARTECY patterns or Heaven and Earth patterns. These are NOT kits. Because of their detail, I would have some small projects to work on when you feel the need to walk away from the bigger, more detailed projects. I have NOT done the project you speak of but.....
I would give it a try......

Have not heard negative issues with Mystic Stitch. In my opinion, the more pages, the larger the graph, and therefore, easier to stitch.

I have several Mystic Stitch patterns and they are all quite detailed and many pages. The John Wayne one I am working on now is basically all whites, blacks, and grays. I agree to have a smaller project to switch to just so you "keep your sanity". LOL Also be sure to make at least 2 copies of your pattern. One is to mark on and the other is to tape together and hang on a design wall like I do. This leaves your original clean to use again.

If you have 25 years experience you can do it. Good luck!

Thank you ladies - I will order my pattern tomorrow. I still have "Lying in Wait" going so it will be awhile till I get to it. I just got a nice order today of items from Stoney Creek and there is a smaller project included in it that I want to work when my wolf gets to me. Again - thank you so much for your input. Have a great week.
