Bee's Knees
Posted on this back in the beginning of April and got some good advice. Can't find post but wanted to let that person know they were helpful. I wouldn't have chosen this myself but was talked into it. I like to do samplers and such with scenes in them. I almost gave up on this but once I got the hang of it it was ok. I don't like doing the whole x at one time and even working back. I must really pay attention as the color is just shades of the same (Fall Foilage). and two or three areas may be exactly the same. I put in at least two hours a day and still haven't finished the outside yet. If interested you can see this on almost any cross stitch site and it is almost the same colors I am using.

Is that the name of the project? Is this counted cross stitch? Guess I'm a bit confused!

This is lovely! So glad you overcame the obstacles....it was about using over-dyes, wasn't it? I think it was Syagel who had worked it before....could be wrong, I often am wrong! :) it will look so elegant when you have it framed!

Yes, counted cross stitch using variegated hand dyed thread by Gloriana Threads on 14 count off white adia. I could not see to do it on 28 count linen as suggested. It is 12"x12",11,636 stitches and total of 46 yards. You can go to foxcollection.innovations.com.au and type in bees knees and click zoom and see very good detail
