Hello,

This is a counted cross stitch pattern and the design can be stitched on your choice f 14 or 18ct fabric using DMC Floss. Thank you :)

The stitch count of the pattern is listed at 300 x 400 on the website I checked. Just be sure to add 3 inches on each side when determining what size fabric to purchase. I have several Cody Country patterns and I really like them. They are several pages long. Don't forget to make a couple of copies of the pattern before you start to stitch so you will keep your original pattern unmarked. I tape one together and hang it n my design wall and use the other to mark as I stitch. My John Wayne - The Duke pattern by Cody Country I am working on is 15 pages long. Good luck with your project. It is a pretty pattern.

I'm a Willie Nelson fan, but not a big enough one to undertake this project! LOL

I got my Celtic Spring today - beautiful colors. I wish that I could order time from ECS as well.

Nancye, you are too funny. My daughter all but celebrates that day! LOL

Nevertheless, I'll pass. If ever I feel the need to see him, I'll place the CD case next to my stitching chair. I listen to Classic Country occasionally when stitching that's enough.

Hey Tx Stitcher: Did you get yet another pattern? Ok, now I have to get the Celtic Christmas one. Dang it! It was a toss up of the Celtic Spring or the Celtic Christmas. LOL. I love all of those, I would like to have the whole collection!

I'm having a hard time finishing the Baby ABC sampler for DH's great niece. I have 5 more alphabets to go. The reason for the hard time is that it is getting soooo boring now. I've been working on it since October!!! It's very easy, just boring. Now I'm starting to make stupid mistakes. I've started something else to break up the monotony, hopefully I can finish it soon and send it to the baby before she grows up!!!

Texas Stitcher, I hope you are well and safe. I don't like the videos I am seeing about the weather down your way. We are "pulling" for you! We also like Willie Nelson. Went to see him in Atlantic City several years ago. I don't know how he keeps travelling the way he does. He had a HUGE bus parked outside of Caesars in Atlantic City. He sang straight through for 2 1/2 hours non stop. I was just amazed at his energy. He said he keeps doing this because of the "electricity" between him and the audiences!!

Also...you ordered Celtic Spring??? Did I see that right?? I saw your notes about the beautiful colors. I am working on her now. I am doing the lower right side of her dress with the folds that have gold in them. It is really nice. Remember our long discussion a while back about "vertical stitching". I have employed that technique big time on this project! You know how this works don't you....now I have to order Celtic Christmas you were talking about. It is probably one of the few L&L designs I do not have!!

jersey, thank you for your kind thoughts. Yes, the weather was severe. Fortunately, our area was spared, many others were not so lucky. We only got rain and thunderstorms. The rain was much welcomed and needed. Lightning struck a gas well in Denton, that was some fire!

Yes, j and jersey, I did order Celtic Spring. My Olivia was born in April, so.... The fabric, floss and embellishments are beautiful.

A few days afterwards while delusional I also ordered Celtic Summer and Winter! I already have Christmas. I wish that I had ordered Autumn as well. I love them so much and cannot wait until they arrive. Will I ever stitch them? Highly unlikely. They will become part of my estate! LOL But then again who knows???? j, I'm sorry that I let you down. You weren't here to support me. Where are you anyway?
jersey, I do remember the vertical discussion but the time that I begin working on them I might have to ask you to re explain it to me.

Sorry, but Olivia is not well, some lingering cold. We've taken her to the doctor three times in three weeks. It come and goes. Allergies have been ruled out. So, very little time. DH had several appointments. He is on an inhaler now for COPD - poor guy. What a nuisance those little inhalers are. They could have constructed something that's simpler to manage.

I'll try to catch up on Thursday. Hope that everybody had a great Mother's Day.

Texas, Good to hear from you! I am glad you were not severely hit by the storms moving through. As for our discussion about vertical stitching, just let me know if you want a "refresher"!! This project is going much faster than Santa of the Forest because I don't have as many color changes. Also, re: Olivia. How old is she??? She will probably outgrow these problems. Our 12 year old grand daughter was always getting allergies/ear infections, you name it through her years from 7 through 10. She is now pretty much outgrowing all those things. Good luck to all of you!
