I second that emotion!!! The rivers are slowly going down, the rain is spotty and light, and there's warmer and drier weather on the way!!! I have stitching groups scheduled Saturday and Tuesday. Woo-Hoo!!!

Bermuda, I hope you have a great weekend as well as the other ladies in the chat room.
We are staying put. We have family coming from North Jersey and will all hang out in a "low key" fashion. The traffic in South Jersey will pick up drastically from now until school starts in September! We have thousands of people from Philadelphia/other places in PA who will start making their way to the Jersey Shore.

Momcat: I am glad you are getting a break. Take a deep breath and enjoy everything!!

Jerseycrafter - my 19 year old granddaughter and a friend of hers from work are visiting in Cape May this w/end. They are having a blast riding bikes all around. I told her if she can hook up with a "ghost walker" to be sure to do that. You just haven't lived till you have done one. Have a great w/end. We are staying close to home and I plan to get a lot of stitching done.

Momcat,
Happy to hear that the waters are going down. Really helps reduce your stress level I'm sure.

Sounds like everyone is "hanging out" either locally or at home this weekend. Nothing wrong with that!

Just hanging out at home. Hubby will be brewing beer and smoking ribs. Of course I will be stitching. I love weekends like this. And the weather is getting warmer each day! Have a great Memorial weekend everyone.

I spoke too soon... one river nearby took a jump up... friends from many miles away were calling in fear. Made for a bad evening. Dry so far, but terribly afraid. I intend to chill out in front of the tv, watch the Indy 500 then Nascar and stitch and bake today. And try not to think about flooding.
