Facial stitch instructions
I have trouble seeing. I use 14ct aida cloth usually. Does this pattern have you stitch the face with smaller stitches like the Fairy Godmother? Most of the L&L patterns are the same size stitches through out the pattern. I would really like to be able to do this one.

I have this pattern also, but did mine on linen. The face is stitched one thread over one thread. However if you go to the website (TIAG.COM) and look under fairy designs link, the designer did an alternate 2over2 face that can be used on aida that you can download. That would be like stitching 2 threads over one aida block. Hope this helps!

I have done several L&L projects on 14 ct aida and when it comes to the faces and hands I use only one strand of thread and do regular stitches. The one strand makes it softer and more feminine. I do love doing the L&L patterns. I think they are some of the easiest patterns to follow. Good luck with this new project.
