Gift for an avid reader!
Hi there stitchers. I am Dorothy from Canada and have been buying patterns and kits off and on for about 4 years now. I decided to buy this pattern because it looked easy. I got it at home via mail and had a look at it. You could teach a beginner this pattern or they could try it. Lots of variety and can change up colors. Haven't started yet as it is a project for September and for Christmas. Have been stitching for over 20 years and self-taught. Grandmother was left-handed; I am right-handed......

Good price too; it was on sale!

Happy stitching.

Dorothy, Thank you for posting this. It would be a good gift for my sister who is an avid reader, as am I.
Happy cross stitching!

DOROTHY!

I have been looking for a Dorothy for years! My mom was a Dorothy. I stitched two bib type aprons for her and designed the patterns of cross stitching for her! They have Dorothy on them. She is gone now.
One is emerald green lettering with the Wizard of Oz characters on the bib, apron is yellow. The other is a red apron with the name on the bib in moss green and a wreath stitched on there, too.

Do you ever wear aprons? Would you like to have these? I would be happy for a stitcher to have them if they would be worn. They are practical, but finished nicely (back when my eyes weren't so old), so could be worn to prepare Thanksgiving or other holiday meals.

Canada Day approaches! We celebrate with our Canadian friend and neighbor. My great grandmother was Canadian...Kitchener, Ontario. My email.is pittsuze63@yahoo.com please answer at that address rather than here if you want them.
She never wore them. She thought I had had the designs printed on them (40 counr one over one).
