Fabric in this kit....
Is not evenweave, it's Aida cloth. Very disappointing. Too much hassle to return even though ECS offered a refund. Company is not in U.S. or I would notify them.

Description is a little confusing because it states "evenweave." However, if read the whole description, it says it comes with 14 ct black Aida. If it were me, I'd buy my own black jobelan or lugana in 28 ct. This is not too expensive to give one satisfaction.

I'm keeping it with the other two kits because it's a nice theme and they are very pretty. Aida won't do it justice for the time and effort involved. I normally don't buy kits because I have a LOT of floss and I don't care for Aida but these patterns are so pretty...

I hate it when you order something on-line and are disappointed with what you receive.

It's great that ECS offered you a refund on their end. That is wonderful customer service. Since you have decided to keep it --- I suggest that you write or e-mail Riolis and inform them of your dissatisfaction.

I am in awe of your decision to stitch this piece -- way too dark for me to even consider.

Keep us posted.

Kristi -- I think that someone on your end needs to look at this and update the ECS description

They do have a website (riolis.com) with a place to send messages. This company is in Lithuania -- I would not try calling them.

Like Jlhewes says I would buy the fabric that you really wanted to stitch this on. it is a pretty pattern. I rarely buy kits just because I always seem to be disappointed with what I get. I have been known to buy a kit just for the pattern and throw the rest of the supplies away if it wasn't too expensive. It was nice of ECS to offer you a refund. I have seen a couple other complaints on here about the designer company - Riolis.

I'm confused...it clearly states Black Aida cloth in the description- or has that been updated already?
And technically, Aida is an evenweave...but I would have expected something like Lugana or Jobelan too if Aida had not been in the description.

Make lemonade...Buy some black Lugana and make the set- they are pretty.

Hello,

I apologize for the confusion on this product. Our description comes straight from our distributor and I am not sure why they had even weave and Aida fabric stated in the same description? I have changed the description on our website and have taken out the word even weave since it is Aida cloth that comes with this kit. Thank you and sorry again for the confusion!
