The commended floss suggested should be enough to finish your project. If more than one skein of floss is needed that is usually stated. Of course, if you mess up and have to rip stitches out that would be a problem.

If you are going to order everything all together -- feel comfortable going by the suggested supply list.

I am going to assume that you have stitched before. Maybe you have some of these colors in your stash. Sometimes, there may only be a few stitches in a particular color.

This is a large project. If you have never stitched before, I would suggest going with a smaller piece.
