BETTER EXPLANATION OF RE-SELLING COPYRIGHT PATTERNS
Finally, an explanation that makes sense and that I understand

If you have a pattern you bought at a shop you only have one copy and it is fine for you to give that pattern to someone else, you give it away and you do not have a copy. It is against copyright though for you to photocopy that pattern and give someone a copy and keep a copy for yourself.

You buy a pattern. You are finished with it and no longer want it. You can give it away or sell it to someone.

You cannot make a copy and sell it.

You can make a working copy but you are supposed to destroy it when you are finished with it.

In a nutshell -- you are not allowed to increase the amount of those copies that are in circulation.
Giving away or selling original copy is okay.
Making copies and giving away or selling is not okay.

My final word on the subject -- I hope
