Is this a pattern only?
I was wondering what is included in the kit. Is there thread in addition to the pattern? Is there fabric? Are these things bought separately? I cannot find that information...

Hello,

This is just a counted cross stitch pattern and not a manufactured kit. You can tell what the product is if you look to the right of the picture it will say: "Product Type: Counted Cross Stitch pattern". If it were a kit, it would say "Cross Stitch Kit" and give a name of the manufacturer.

The supplies for this pattern have to be purchased separately but they are listed right underneath of the pattern on the website. The floss and fabric should all be listed there and I have added the sizing information as well. So, if you choose, you can purchase the pattern, the floss and the fabric all at the same time and we will gather everything up and get it shipped out to you. I hope this information helps :) Thank you!

Just a suggestion -- If I were going to do this piece I would buy an Aida bread cover/napkin to stitch on. I don't see it on this site. I have seen it at craft stores. The one that I have is 17" x17" It would be a nice size to cover a plate of matza.

ds, Nancye has a great idea. Those bread cloths are so easy to stitch on. Just be careful that it does not come in contact with oil or any fatty substance. The fabric contains synthetics and I've ruined a couple. Not even my most favorite product Clorox will take the stain out.

No oil in the matza -- it tastes like cardboard. Just keep it away from the wine

Love that idea! Will look for that product! Thank you!

I know, Nancye, but from other foods. Good looking out about the wine. I had forgotten about wine stains. I've ruined so many table linens because I am too lazy or in a hurry to pretreat. Candle wax is another one. It's difficult to even use candles (love them only unscented though) with either the AC or the heater kicking on every few minutes.
I love stitching on bread cloth fabric. I still have a few in my stash. They make a nice break from larger patterns and also nice gifts.

Any ideas on where to find these pre-finished aida cloth napkins or bread cloths? I've been looking, but not finding!

Texas, have you thought about the "likes like real" battery operated candles.. I have several different height ones and also some small one for volitive holders.. they look great along with other table decorations..

I have two napkins/bread cloths in my stash. Don't know where I got them at but they must have come from a chain store like Joann's or Michael's.

There is a bread cover listed on this site. Go to the search box in on the upper left side and type "bread cover." Unfortunately, it is presently out of stock. You can check with Kristi to see when they will become available. I did not check any other cross stitch sites.
