Completed Santa of the Forest
I completed this about five years ago and it is the most beautiful project I have ever done.

I loved the animals and birds, especially the wolf. This project took about 1 1/2 years, but is well worth the effort.

He hangs over our fireplace year round as I can't bear to take him down!

I also made this Santa for one of my Grandkids.I had to make 4 in all and he was my favorite. I thought he was beautiful.

Your stitching is very beautifully done and looks perfect. I always love to see the completed version, and I'm so glad you posted it for us to enjoy and view. I just purchased this chart recently and look forward to the stitch but have so many others going right now that it will have to wait until I make some room to add it to my rotation.

It is truly a work of art. I love the way the dove of peace pops in the picture. I like cross stitch that aren't solidly stitched. It shows off the stitching so much!

Wow Beautiful work! I would keep him up all year also! It is our hearts and souls that go into these projects and they deserve to be displayed! It is amazing to me that some people don't appreciate all the work put into these projects! Its good that we have one another to get feedback from. It's really nice sharing with people who know the love put into these beauties!

Thank you for all your kind worlds. I am sorry there is reflection in the picture. It was the only way I could get the proper perspective.
